CHOOSING YOUR CRATE SIZE
Your dog's crate should be big enough for it to stand, turn around, lie down and stretch in. For a puppy, get a crate that's big enough for your pup to grow into. It is better to give your pet more space even if you need to restrict the size of the crate when you are crate training your puppy.
When your furry friend is fully grown, they should have plenty of headroom in their dog crate, about 75-100mm of space, as well as being able to move around freely.
Remember that dog crates are designed to act as a cosy space, not a play area. When used correctly, they offer your dog a safe haven.
